Why did you choose your postgraduate course?
I have always had an interest in diet and science however was unsure which career path to choose. I therefore did a general science degree at undergraduate level and gained experience by shadowing Dietitians in many different hospitals. I loved this experience and decided to apply to a masters in Dietetics. University of Ulster was my university of choice as many Dietitian’s I spoke to complimented it’s high standards and state if the art campus.

Supportive enriching and friendly.
What one piece of advice would you give to someone considering going back to university?
University of Ulster has been the perfect place to further my education. It was daunting at first but everyone was so friendly I settled in straight away. The lecturers always have time for any questions or queries no matter how small and know all students on a first name basis. This experience has been invaluable as I have grown not only in knowledge but confidence which is a credit to the lecturers here at the University. I have enjoyed both the academic and social side of University of Ulster I will find it hard to leave this beautiful part of Northern Ireland the end of this year. I will always be grateful for the two years I spent here the knowledge I acquired and the friends I’ve made.
